JR was selected to add color, performance and a new pedigree to our program this winter. JR is sired by the very consistent red factor PayDay bull and is out of a top producing red factor Indiana daughter. We are confident JR's performance pedigree and solid color will leave us with highly marketable offspring that fit into our commercial customers programs. JR has tested TT for the leptin marbling gene - a trait which continually garners more attention each year from our commercial customers.

Canadian Semen Rights were purchased by Circle Cee in the spring of 2005 in Cardinal's Bonanza E881 P. Bonanza was the lead off bull in the Reserve Champion Pen of Three Bulls in the yards in Denver in 2005 for Cardinal Charolais. Bonanza topped the Cardinal Charolais Annual Bull Sale in March 2005 selling to a syndicate of U.S. breeders for $31,000 U.S. Bonanza has tested TT for the Leptin gene which indicates marbling and possesses an awesome REA measurement of 18.7. Bonanza possesses a long smooth stride with incredible natural muscling, style and testicular development. Judges during the pen evaluation at Denver commented that Bonanza was "The most complete bull in the yards". Bonanza's first set of calves in Canada were faced with tremendous
anticipation and expectations. It is safe to say they have greatly exceeded
these high expectations. The calves were born with modest birth weights,
excellent vigor and hair coats. As they grew and matured throughout the
summer months, they were easy to pick out as they were all very similar in
type and very consistent. At weaning we were again impressed as both the
bull and heifer calves were our top indexing groups. We have opened up the
semen availability so others may use this exciting young sire in their

After winning the MooLaMania Sweepstakes at Farmfair International in 2003, Cinch has been used in our AI program with excellent results. Cinch is out of a top performing, heavy milking Reebok daughter that everyone ranks in the top five of our herd. Like his sire, Cigar, both individuals have left us functional, fleshy, moderately framed calves that commercial cattlemen demand. Cinch is a "TT" for the leptin gene adding to his powerful portfolio. Cinch calves perform tremendously displaying size, muscle, natural thickness, volume and awesome hair coats. His progeny have topped shows at the IPE in Armstrong, at the Sirvivor Show and at Farmfair International in Edmonton. We selected Duramax
in the 2007 Agibition Sale in Regina were he was the High Seller.
Duramax is sired by the legendary "Rio Blanco" who consistently leaves
progeny with incredible performance, excellent scrotal circumferences and
quiet dispositions. Duramax is no exception. He is deep sided throughout
with a tremendous hip and quarter. Once you get behind this bull your first
thought is "Wow is he ever Thick". Duramax's mother is sired by Katamandu
and has produced several herdsires and replacement females across the
country. We look forward to incorporating Duramax's high performance
genetics into our herd.
